We all say things like this, don’t we?

Why wouldn’t you do that; it’s just common sense?” or “Well of course, it’s only common sense!”

In effect, the term ‘common sense’ is often used to convey a feeling of frustration as to why a particular ‘obvious’ course of action was not taken as opposed to the one that was. In other words, there is a perception that many people are taking action that is neither common nor sensible!

Heard around the world every day and particularly popular amongst the younger generations, this expression – often drawn out for effect with supporting knowing nods of the head and satisfied smiles – has become the adjective of ‘choice’ for many to express their approval of an item or a situation.

What is Quality?

An easy question; not so easy to answer!

If one tries to define Quality, it seems to be like one of those dreams we all have occasionally when we're running towards something that just keeps moving just out of reach; you think you've 'nailed' what it means and then realise that there is more to it!

Of course, there are formal definitions for Quality. For example, the International Standards Organisation (ISO) definition is:
