Whilst working for HEB Construction, Graham noted that client requirements for comprehensive management plans to be prepared prior to commencement of construction placed a huge administrative burden on each, already very busy, Project Manager (PM).

Using a 'back-to-basics', practical approach Graham identified a simple process for reducing the time it took to 'populate' a new CMP from about two hours to around 20 minutes. A programme of 'in-the-field' education for PMs delivered the message in a targeted manner and the result was adopted - and gains in efficiency experienced - across the Company.

A further revision by Graham has seen plans for an innovative, 'fully automated' CMP-generation process being drawn up for future use.
